Most of us fear confrontation, but the avoidance of confrontation is not healthy and does not produce the level of intimacy that we all seek.  In order to achieve the authenticity that we desire for our groups, we must be willing to confront problems head on and deal with them in a Christ-like way.  Stephen Redden, a member of the Group Life staff at North Point Community Church, helps us understand the importance of confrontation in our lives, and he will help us see the benefits of embracing it in our groups.
